I work with all honest seekers regardless of their race, age, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or practice. Greetings! Welcome to my website. My name is Rev. Dr. Patricia Wellborn, a.k.a. Queen Patricia of Gardendiva Temple. I am a Metaphysical Teacher and Spiritual Counselor with twenty-five years experience, and I have been a Reiki Master Teacher for six. Alternative healing professions have grown steadily over the past forty years. Transcendental Meditation, many forms of Yoga, Tai Chi, and Therapeutic Massage are just a few of the early pioneers of Alternative healing practices. At first, these methods of healing the body, mind, and spirit were looked upon as little more than “Hippie diversions”, and not taken seriously by the public. Now, these valuable methods are respected healing alternatives by the mainstream. Many of these practices are accepted by insurance companies such as Acupuncture (Oriental) Medicine, Chiropractic Medicine, and Therapeutic Massage. Fortunately for me, some of the newest media buzz words include “Metaphysician”, “Spiritual Counselor”, and “Reiki Practitioner”! Although I have been practicing successfully for many years, these “new” alternative healing practices are beginning to gain the general public’s attention. I like to think of a Metaphysician as a Spirit M.D. One definition of spirit is the non-physical, energetic component that is an integral part of the Body-Mind-Spirit triad. A Metaphysician intensely studies and examines principles of first cause, or the nature of ultimate reality. For example, if you come into my office with a stomach ulcer and you are also on anti-depressants, your physician will take care of the ulcer, and your psychiatrist will address your mental and emotional issues. I am concerned about your spirit – the unseen, non-physical energy component of your being. Because you are anxious, worried and fearful, your life force energy cannot flow easily through your body, and this eventually causes blockages, which leads to chemicals and hormones in your body becoming unbalanced, which then cause physical and emotional degeneration. What is the root of these problems? Consciously or unconsciously you want something, and for whatever reason, you feel you cannot have it. I help you to find out what you do want and how to attract it energetically and consciously. I counsel you on how energy works, how to flow your energy consciously, and through techniques such as visualization, magnetism, and with these and other tools and information, you will understand how to become the masterful creator of your holographic universe. From my perspective, Alternative Medicine does not have to compete with Allopathic or Conventional treatment. After many years of observation and practice, I feel that they can work harmoniously together. They can be complimentary. The client receives valuable assistance in every area of her or his life: Body, Mind, and Spirit, thus fulfilling the universal goal of the healing profession. pw |
